You are so cute!!! I love that scarf. ;)Thank you for the detailed info on how to craft a one-sheet. I'll be creating my first one this year for ACFW.Do you list the genre on the one-sheet? Wow, I was typing a comment that said you should creating a vlog about pitching, and then you said that's what your next one would be. :P
How funny! Thank you for watching the whole thing... it ended up longer than I expected! :D Imagine that, me talking longer than I planned.I don't usually put the genre on the one sheet, and I've never had anyone complain. Many people do include genre, but it's really a personal preference. I prefer to say what my genre is out loud when I'm introducing myself and then let the hook speak for itself. To me, putting the genre has felt like it was distracting from my hook. But like I said, that's just me. I think it can go either way.
Thanks for this great video Ashley! It was very helpful as I'm creating my first one-sheet(s) for the ACFW conference this year! I've seen some with word count, is that helpful to include? Also, I have several ideas for books though for the conference only 2 will probably be "finished" in terms of the whole book. Is it best to only have a one-sheet for books that are finished? Thanks in advance :)
